About EDA Praxis

A technical knowledge portal by eVision Systems GmbH: engineering knowledge, traceable assessments and commercial advice.

EDA Praxis connects German- and English-language practical knowledge with the selection and use of development tools. It is aimed at engineers and technical decision-makers who want to structure, simulate and verify HDL projects.

Who operates the portal

The operator is eVision Systems GmbH in Forstinning near Munich. The company describes its focus as software and hardware solutions for FPGA- and ASIC-based development. Its corporate website includes Aldec and Sigasi in its line card. Full provider information is available in the legal notice.

Our commercial background

The portal supports consultation, evaluation licence and quotation enquiries to eVision Systems. It presents itself neither as an independent comparison portal nor as an official Aldec or Sigasi website. Product selection and assessment deliberately focus on this technical field.

What the content should deliver

A technical article should answer an engineering question. An application note should make a bounded workflow understandable and reproducible. A product page should explain which tasks justify an evaluation and which limitations need consideration. Original text and examples are connected with official sources for this purpose.

How we handle claims and tests

Product-specific statements include sources and a review date. Execution tests are reported only for environments actually used. An example checked elsewhere is not an Aldec or Sigasi test. Where a specific version or licence is required, it is identified as a prerequisite or a point to check.

We do not use invented customer references, success rates or manufacturer approvals. A technical assessment replaces neither current manufacturer documentation nor evidence from your own project.

Start with a specific question

Your development goal, existing environment and a described bottleneck are helpful. The contact form provides access to our consultation team. Share confidential source code and licence files only through an explicitly agreed, suitable transfer channel.
